Capistrano Valley Guard to Sign With Northridge
Bill Mazurie, a 6-foot, 3-inch guard from Capistrano Valley High, said Tuesday that he will sign a letter of intent today to play basketball for Cal State Northridge.
Mazurie averaged 12 points a game and was selected all-league while playing for Foothill High of Santa Ana last season. He transferred to Capistrano Valley in the spring.
He becomes the first player to sign early with CSUN, which competes in Division II but is scheduled to move to Division I in 1990.
