Limited Inc.’s third-quarter profit rose 1.7% from a year ago to $70.4 million as its sales began to recover from a yearlong slump. The Columbus, Ohio-based apparel retailer’s sales were up 13.5% to $1.01 billion. The company said its Limited Express division had record sales and earnings in the period and that results of its Lerner unit also were strong. Other Limited divisions are Victoria’s Secret and Lane Bryant stores.
