Sid R. Bass, the Texas billionaire who installed a highly successful management team at Walt Disney Co. in 1984, has transferred more than one-third of his Disney shares to his spouse, Anne H. Bass, in connection with a divorce settlement, according to a filing at the Securities and Exchange Commission. At current market prices, Anne Bass’ holdings of nearly 1.4 million shares would be worth about $87 million. As a result of various transactions, the Sid Bass-led group of investors has lowered its Disney stake to 15.4%, down from 16.7% in January.
