Aleutian Islands Quake

WASHINGTON — A moderate earthquake was felt Sunday at a Navy base in the remote Aleutian Islands off Alaska, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake, measured at 5.2 on the Richter scale, was centered about 80 miles from Adak, an island about 1,000 miles from Anchorage that is the site of a Navy base.
