Fathers and Drug Babies
Reading about the problems of children suffering from intrauterine drug exposure (“Drug Babies and the Schools,” by Allan Parachini, Oct. 25) makes me wonder whether a father’s drug-alcohol use can affect the health and well-being of this children before they are even born and exposed to the more tangible deficiencies of a drug-saturated environment. I pose this question because it may be that too much blame is being shoved on to the mothers.
