Brajdas Corp. Reports 2nd-Quarter Income Rises 30% to $695,585
Brajdas Corp. in Woodland Hills reported that its net income for the second quarter, which ended Aug. 31, rose 30% to $695,585, or 23 cents a share, compared to $533,802, or 18 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier. Sales were up 41% to $16.9 million from $12 million.
The company, which moved from Beverly Hills earlier this month, distributes electrical components including semiconductors.
For the six-month period that ended Aug. 31, net income jumped 69% to $1.7 million, or 57 cents a share, compared to $995,898, or 34 cents a share, a year earlier. Sales were up 47% to $33.2 million from $22.5 million.
