Local News in Brief : Ex-Chancellor in New Job
Leslie Koltai, the former chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District, has been named director of the master’s degree program in business administration at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles. The program emphasizes management skills for nonprofit and community-service organizations.
Koltai headed the nine-campus district for 15 years until he was forced into retirement three months ago by a newly elected majority on the system’s governing board.
He also teaches graduate courses in education at UCLA.
