WASHINGTON — The Center for Auto Safety on Monday asked federal regulators to investigate and order the recall of about 50,000 Acura Legends because of reports of sudden acceleration. American Honda Motor Co. said it had investigated and found no defect. The center said 14 accident reports on the Legend, three involving injuries, have been received by the center and the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration.
