‘Panic in Gulf, Money in Bank’
I say bravo to Kinsley for enlightening us all on how he believes Kuwait should behave in regard to its internal affairs with respect to the U.S. oil tanker protection policy. He was even so gracious as to give us Kuwaitis, in particular, and others in general, a dollar and cents measure of a moral evaluation scale.
As a reader of The Times, I wish to point out to Kinsley and others that perhaps if it were not for these naive and cynical presentations of reality, as was similarly dictated to the Shah of Iran during his last years in power, then maybe the people of Iran would not have been condemned to such suffering in recent years.
The criticism should be directed to the ayatollah and his notorious political gang, not to those who are interested in security for all.
