‘Panic in Gulf, Money in Bank’
Right up to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the U.S. was doing business with Japan. Boat loads of scrap iron, used to build ships and other military equipment, were being shipped to Japan. War was a foregone conclusion but the business continued to flourish.
Now history repeats itself. The U.S. continues to buy oil and other exports from Iran. The income from these products supports Iran’s ability to maintain its aggressive attitude toward our country. This time we have had a much stronger warning but there seems to be a chronic problem with our memory. We never learn!
