A shareholder group led by British investor Alan Clore said it may attempt to seek control of drug maker Rorer Group Inc., which recently agreed to buy A. H. Robins Co. for about $2.6 billion. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the shareholder group said it holds 12.2% of Fort Washington, Pa.-based Rorer’s common stock. The filing also said the group has applied to regulators for clearance to buy up to 25% of Rorer’s common stock.
