Kentaro Arai, president of Calsonic International Inc. in Irvine, has been named managing director of the Tokyo-based parent company, Nihon Radiator Co. Ltd.
Calsonic International oversees U.S. operations of Nihon, a manufacturer of automotive parts and systems. Arai retains his position as president of Calsonic International, while moving up to the new position of chairman of Calsonic Inc. of Irvine.
Tadashi Ohdate succeeds Arai as president of Calsonic Inc. Hajime Yamada, executive vice president and general manager of Calsonic Inc., has been named general manager at the parent’s Tokyo headquarters.
In addition, Bill Crew was named executive vice president-operations of Calsonic Inc., and Koji Yamamoto was appointed vice president.
