Veteran bluesman B. B. King may be opening up his own place on Beale Street in Memphis--the blues center where King got his start 30 years ago. King, 61, said he considered opening a club in Memphis in 1984 but decided the time wasn’t right. He said he’s unsure how often he will appear at the nightclub: “I’m hoping that it would be fairly often but not so much to the point where everybody would be tired of looking at me.”
