A Houston millionaire bought Greta Garbo’s custom-built 1933 Duesenberg convertible for $1.4 million at a benefit auction Tuesday in Lake George, N.Y. Jerry Moore, owner of the world’s largest Duesenberg collection bid by telephone for the maroon luxury car with cream-colored leather upholstery.
