The financially troubled Hawaii Islanders, a Triple-A baseball team affiliated with the Chicago White Sox, will move to a mainland city next year, owner David Elmore said.
Elmore said that Colorado Springs, Colo.; Sacramento and Salt Lake City were being considered.
Economics, Hawaii’s location and frustration with the White Sox were among the reasons cited by Elmore for the move.
