Head of Atmospheric, Oceanic Agency to Quit

WASHINGTON — Anthony J. Calio is quitting as head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration next month, the agency announced Tuesday.
There was no immediate word on who will succeed Calio at NOAA, a division of the Commerce Department that includes the operations of the National Weather Service, National Ocean Service, National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service, National Marine Fisheries Service and the NOAA Corps.
