Commodore International posted a profit of $28.6 million for the year ended June 30, contrasted with a loss of $127.9 million last year. The New York-based company had fourth-quarter earnings of $2.1 million, up 75% from the year-ago period. The computer maker said it achieved profitability through operating efficiencies.
