Tandy Corp.’s income rose 23% to $242.3 million for the year. The Fort Worth-based parent of the Radio Shack retail chain also reported that revenue for the year gained 14% to $3.45 billion. Income for the fourth quarter increased 66% to $44.4 million from the year-ago period. Quarterly revenue grew 7% to $737 million. The firm attributed the gains to strong sales of its personal computer line.
