Semco Instruments in North Hollywood reported a $149,549 profit for the first half of 1987 against a year-earlier loss of $31,855.
Semco, a maker of electronic recorders, sensors and other components for the aerospace industry, said its latest earnings--equal to 3 cents a share--came on a 41% jump in sales to $2.1 million from $1.5 million.
The company attributed the improvement to “more vigorous marketing and sales efforts over the past several years.”
