Clean Air Incentive

With regard to the House-approved legislation banning smoking on domestic flights of two hours or less, in my opinion that just isn’t enough.

What about a ban on smoking on long distance flights where I am exposed for many hours? I am a frequent traveler to the Orient and Europe. Denoting a number of seats or rows as restricted does not protect non-smokers.

As far as I am concerned there is only one answer, and that is a total ban on smoking on all commercial aircraft on all flights, long or short. There is no such thing as smokers’ rights when they are endangering other people. Let them chew gum and give their lungs and mine a break.
