VIENNA CHOIR TO SING AT ARTS CENTER
The renowned Vienna Choir Boys will perform at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on Sept. 30 at 8 p.m.
The current version of the choir features 25 boys ages 10-14. The program will range from pops to light classical fare, including Austrian polkas and waltzes and a comic opera by Johann Strauss.
Founded in 1498, the institution has been associated with many famous names in its long history: Schubert was a choirboy, Mozart was a contributor to the choir, and the organization helped train Gluck, Haydn and Bruckner.
Tickets for the Orange County performance are $10.50 to $16.50. For information, call (714) 556-2787.
