Taiwan Advances to Little League Series

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Taiwan shut out South Korea Sunday, 6-0, to win the Far East Little League Tournament for the 15th time and advance to the Little League World Series.
Taiwan, represented by the Rong Kung team of Taipei, ended the tournament with a 7-0 record.
In other games, Japan beat Indonesia, 10-0, and Hong Kong defeated the Philippines, 11-5.
South Korea finished second with a 6-1 record. Japan and the Philippines tied for third with 4-3 records.
