Camper’s 16 Leads Lakewood to Win Over Santa Ana
Brian Camper scored 16 points to lead Lakewood High School past Santa Ana, 48-45, Sunday in the championship game of the Santa Ana summer basketball tournament at Santa Ana High.
Bobby Joyce scored a game-high 26 points for Santa Ana but was the only Saint in double figures.
In other tournament games: Ocean View defeated University, 47-41, for third place; Tustin defeated Warren, 66-53, for fifth place; Irvine defeated Gahr, 43-42 for seventh place; South Lake Tahoe defeated Western, 64-48, for ninth place and Saddleback defeated Orange, 77-32, for 11th place.
