Financing Given for Downtown Office Building
American Trading Real Estate Co. Inc. has obtained permanent financing on its Wilshire-Bixel Office Building, with $29 million provided by Aetna Life & Casualty of Hartford, Conn.
Designed by Langdon Wilson Mumper Architects of Los Angeles, the building is on a 0.9-acre site at 1055 Wilshire Blvd., in the heart of the area designated as Center City West, just west of the Harbor Freeway.
The Wilshire-Bixel Building has 11 levels of office space totaling 270,704 square feet. Also included in the project are 7,483 square feet of ground-level retail space.
