Sorry, Bob, “Sgt. Pepper’s” continues to define the culture of the Beatles era and I expect it will continue to do so.

P.S. Is there an office betting pool on how many letters Calendar will get on this subject? Or is that why Hilburn wrote it in the first place? Was the bet that there’ll be so many letters, they’ll have to have the entire Letters Page and an Annex devoted to them? By the way, what are the odds?
