Adoption Guild Tennis Semifinals to Be Today

The semifinals of the 26th annual Adoption Guild doubles tennis tournament will be held today at the Newport Beach Tennis Club.

In the men’s championship (6.5) flight, Chris Dunk and Tim Pawsat will play Mike Fedderly and Bernie Mitton, and Mark Kaplan and Trevor Kronemann will meet Robert Van’t Hof and Larry Stefanki.

Van’t Hof and Dunk won the tournament last year.

There also will be women’s doubles and mixed doubles competition in various flights, according to ability. The finals are Sunday, with the men’s championship flight scheduled for 1:30 p.m..
