Raging Rosyout Wins Regatta’s First Race
Bill Rosenberg’s J-35 Raging Rosyout of the Channel Islands Yacht Club was the Class A winner in the first event of the Sobstad Race regatta off Long Beach Friday.
A total of 100 Performance Handicap racing Fleet yachts are entered in the four-race regatta, which concludes Sunday. It is sponsored by Sobstad Sails of Torrance and Golison & Golison Advertising 6 Promotion of Long Beach.
Second in Class A was Still Smokin, skippered by Bob Chilton of the Royal Candadian Yacht Club and third was Mirage, sailed by John Stea of the Long Beach Yacht Club.
