WEEKEND TV SPORTS
Before facing the Lakers Tuesday in pro basketball’s championship series, either the Boston Celtics or Detroit Pistons will have to survive Game 7 of their rough-and-tumble Eastern Conference final, which will take place today at 12:30 p.m. on CBS (2)(8).
Dick Stockton and Tom Heinsohn will report from Boston Garden, where the Pistons have lost 17 consecutive games to the Celtics.

There are additional hard knocks on tap--thanks to the firm clay surface at Roland Garros Stadium in Paris--as the French Open tennis tournament comes your way today at 6 a.m. on ESPN cable and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. (36)(39) and 12:30 p.m. (4).
The going also promises to be tough in hockey’s Stanley Cup series as the Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers skate in Game 7 Sunday at 5 p.m. on ESPN.
In baseball, the Dodgers will be on their home turf at Dodger Stadium as they face the Philadelphia Phillies today at 12:15 p.m. (4)(36)(39). Sunday will bring the Angels and Toronto Blue Jays in a KTLA telecast due at 10:30 a.m. (5).
On the greens, there is coverage of the Memorial Golf tourney by way of CBS today at 11 a.m. and Sunday at noon (2).
