COACH HOUSE CATCHES COMEDY WAVE
Joining a handful of local venues presenting regular comedy attractions, the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano will begin a weekly comedy series Tuesday.
The first show, which starts at 8 p.m., will feature Los Angeles-based comedians Jeff Gerbino, Jeff Wayne and Hugh Fink.
The Coach House has often used comics to open shows since it began booking original music concerts full time a little more than a year ago. In early May, the club presented Emo Philips as its first headlining comedy act and will bring in X-rated comedy duo Bird and MacDonald to headline on June 5.
On Tuesdays, for the comedy series, the entire evening will be turned over to comics and comedy groups, except on June 16, when singer-guitarist Bonnie Raitt performs.
