No Confusion on Huntington Hotel Vote

In regard to your story on the Huntington hotel election (Times, May 21), there was no confusion on our part about tearing down or preserving the hotel because The Times had warned everyone that there would be confusion.

So I kept the flyer that proclaimed we should vote “Yes--tear it down,” and my husband and I voted as we meant it to be taken. Our position was formulated on the thought that we already had enough ancient buildings preserved and that it would definitely cost more to keep the shell and replace or upgrade the interior.
