Dino Garza’s unbeaten record came to a crashing end Tuesday night at the Country Club in Reseda.

The Granada Hills featherweight dropped to 4-1 after being knocked through the ropes by Armando Baeza (7-2). Garza was knocked out by a flashing right 95 seconds into the second round.

In the first round, the fighters exchanged heavy blows but Garza seemed to be dominating in the second round when Baeza sent him to the canvas.

In a middleweight bout, Larry Musgrove (8-7) avenged an earlier defeat by beating Ricky Locke (8-13) in an eight-round unanimous decision.

Musgrove decked Locke in the first round and dominated the fight the rest of the way. Two years ago, Locke beat him in an eight-round decision.

In other results: featherweight Abe Gomez won a four-round split decision over Rodolfo Perez, junior welterweight Bruce Pierson scored a four-round unanimous decision over David Gurra, and featherweight Fernando Garcia lost to Alex Morphin at 2:50 of the second round.
