Warner Springs
The decomposing body of an unidentified man was discovered Wednesday afternoon by a passing motorist on California 79, the Sheriff’s Department reported.
The body was found north of Warner Springs just east of Fink Road.
The Sheriff’s Department said an investigation revealed that the man, who was fully clothed, had been dead for more than a week. There were no immediate signs of what caused the man’s death because of the advanced decomposition of the body, but an autopsy is pending.
