Chapman Men Win Division II Tennis Title
Chapman College’s No. 1-seeded tennis team defeated second-seeded Hampton University in the final Wednesday to win the NCAA Division II men’s title at Cal State Northridge.
Chapman won five of the six singles matches to clinch the match without being forced to play doubles. In No. 1 singles, Miles Walker of Chapman beat Rozzell Lightfoot, 6-2,6-2.
The individual tournament will begin today.
