Titan Plans to Acquire Digital Systems
Titan Corp. plans to acquire Advanced Digital Systems Inc., a San Diego-based defense satellite communications engineering and systems company, in what would be Titan’s seventh acquisition over the last year and a half.
The planned acquisition was announced during Titan’s annual shareholders meeting Tuesday. ADS employs 160, two thirds of whom are based in San Diego. ADS posted revenues of about $2.5 million over the quarter ended March 31.
Titan President Gene Ray said ADS will be acquired with cash or a combination of cash and Titan stock. Ray declined to disclose the purchase price.
