“Me and My Girl” received 11 nominations and “Les Miserables” picked up eight to dominate New York’s Drama Desk nominations for the best of the 1986-87 theater season, it was announced Sunday. The two English musicals, the biggest successes of the season, will compete with “Starlight Express” and “Olympus on My Mind” for outstanding musical. Nominated for the season’s best play were four Broadway shows, “Broadway Bound,” “Fences,” “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” and “Wild Honey,” as well as three off-Broadway productions, “Driving Miss Daisy,” “The Common Pursuit” and “North Shore Fish.” The Drama Desk is an association of New York drama critics, writers and reporters.
