Parks Tour Set in New Zealand
New Zealand is offering a tour of national and maritime parks as part of a centennial celebration of its national parks. The 26-day tours, which will include visits to 10 of the country’s 13 national and maritime parks, will begin Sept. 28, Oct. 19 and Nov. 9 (springtime in New Zealand).
Among the tour’s scheduled stops are the North Island’s subtropical marine playground in Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park, the volcanic peaks of Tongariro National Park and the Fox and Franz Josef glaciers at Westland National Park.
The tour price is $1,869 per person, double occupancy, not including air fare; a single supplement is $835. Rates include hotel accommodations, transportation in New Zealand, airport transfers, admission to all parks and attractions, all breakfasts, seven lunches and two dinners.
