3 Die in Kenya Downpour

NAIROBI, Kenya — Three people drowned when their car was swept away in a river swollen by a 36-inch rain in 24 hours, police said Saturday. The three died Friday while trying to cross the Athi River, in Nairobi Game Park just outside the capital.
