Future Brightened for Ex-Fortuneteller

HONG KONG — A blind Chinese fortuneteller has been awarded nearly $77,000 damages by a Hong Kong court after being knocked down by a car and losing his ability to predict the future, his lawyer said Saturday.
The lawyer said Yip Kai-ming, 43, suffered brain injuries in the 1985 accident and was unable to continue his business because he could not remember the basic principles of fortunetelling.
