Television’s Easter basket contains some egg-stra special programs for Sunday.
CBS and ABC will be checking out the Easter parades, CBS showing the finery on New York’s Fifth Avenue and also catching the 54th annual Daffodil Floral Parade in Tacoma, Wash., from 9 to 10 a.m. (2)(8).
ABC will deliver “Walt Disney World’s Happy Easter Parade” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. (7)(3)(42).
KTTV Channel 11 chips in with the 1948 “Easter Parade” film (with Fred Astaire and Judy Garland) at 4 p.m. Sunday. Then, to wrap up the day, ABC screens the 1956 biblical story, “The Ten Commandments,” with Charlton Heston as Moses, from 7 to 11:40 p.m.
