ORANGE COUNTY PREP BASKETBALL : Orange League : Walker Gets 29 Points, 15 Rebounds to Lead Brea
Brea-Olinda High School’s 6-foot 10-inch center, Kevin Walker, towered over smaller Anaheim Wednesday night as the Colonists were no match against the Orange League leader.
Walker scored 29 points and had 15 rebounds to lead the Wildcats to a 66-50 win. Brea improved to 3-0 in league play and 15-4 overall.
Anaheim (1-2, 9-7) fell behind at halftime, 34-23, but the Colonists rallied to close to within seven with six minutes left. Tony Robuffo paced the Colonists with 18 points and 9 rebounds, despite missing four minutes of play after suffering a cut lip that required five stitches.
