The owner of the New Orleans Saints announced that interim coach Wade Phillips is no longer being considered for the head coaching vacancy. Phillips took over the Saints for the last four games of the season after his father, Bum, resigned, but owner Tom Benson said he and new General Manager Jim Finks are continuing discussions with other candidates.
