Chevron will sell some of its Italian operations.
The San Francisco oil company said it reached a “basic agreement” for the sale of its Italian refining and marketing operations to ISAB S.p.A. Terms of the sale were not disclosed, but the company said the sale was in line with Chevron’s earlier withdrawal from similar activities in northwest Europe. The acquisition is part of ISAB’s plan to integrate its refining activities with marketing activities, Chevron said.
