Two Prison Escapees Captured in Indiana
Associated Press
INDIANAPOLIS — Police officers, acting on an anonymous tip, stormed a trailer Sunday and captured the last two of four fugitives who escaped from prison by breaking through six steel barriers.
The men, one serving 60 years for killing two Marion County sheriff’s deputies, were asleep when officers entered the trailer behind a house. They offered no resistance, police said.
The four, including three killers, escaped Thursday from the Indiana State Prison, 150 miles away in Michigan City.
