Valley Trounces Biola JV, 57-36
Valley College trounced the Biola junior varsity, 57-36, Friday night at home behind forward John Windham’s 16 points.
Valley (9-11 overall) led throughout the one-sided contest as Windham scored 12 of his game-high total in the first half to give the Monarchs an eight-point halftime lead. Center Mario Lopez and guard Eric Harden had 10 points each.
The Biola JV (11-4) was held to 13 points in the second half because of a tenacious full-court press by the Monarchs. Two Biola starters fouled out in the middle of the second half to aid the Valley rout.
