Rams Come Through, and Raiders Don’t

It’s my suspicion that CBS has more money than Georgia Frontiere, but it was Mrs. Frontiere who stepped in with a check for somewhere around $30,000, one would guess, to buy up the (2,000 to 3,000) unsold seats for last Saturday’s game in order that those of us in the L.A. area could watch the Rams and Cowboys. For my money, not to mention hers, they are still the Los Angeles Rams.

As for Al Davis and his Raiders, who faced the same blackout situation: You just lost, baby.
