SEX & ROCK ‘N’ ROLL
I remember watching a rock documentary and seeing a 1950s senator breaking records and declaring rock ‘n’ roll to be “devil’s music†and a “Communist plot.†I laughed.
Today, I read of a group who would like to set up “an official panel . . . who would set up general guidelines for industry standards.†I’m not laughing.
Please tell the “Washington wives†two things:
1--I don’t care who (male or female) paints themselves blue and appears on an album cover--it’s my job to restrict my children’s access to that record, not theirs, and
2--If it is ever within my power to cast a vote for or against Mr. Baker, Mr. Gore or Mr. Thurmond, I shall remember their names.
