Whittier: Man, 21, stabbed

Joseph Magdaleno, a 21-year-old Latino, died of multiple stab wounds on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, in the 12700 block of Wardman Street in Whittier, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Magdaleno was walking with his girlfriend when two men asked him if he was affiliated with a gang, according to Whittier police.
Magdaleno ran, and the men, Latinos in their 30s, caught up to him and stabbed him several times, police said.
