Corey Perry got a cut on his face and a hat trick in his pocket Sunday in the Ducks’ 6-2 win over Minnesota at the Honda Center.
Perry scored his first goal 19 seconds into the game, picked up his second on a penalty shot in the second period after he was pulled down on a short-handed breakaway, and notched the third with a power-play goal in the final period.
He also was cut on the face in the second period, when Nick Schultz picked up a high-sticking double minor.
The hat trick was Perry’s first. It came in the 401st NHL game of the 25-year-old winger’s career.
