Thursday morning, about 10 a.m., it was 6 degrees Fahrenheit in Hell. You would think it would be much hotter.

Given its location, freezing cold is nothing new to Hell. But it’s been really, really cold. For parts of Michigan, the polar vortex brought record-breaking temperatures -- the coldest air in two decades, according to the Detroit Free Press.

On Facebook, Hell posted a city sign coated in icicles.

Good news: A Friday forecast shows Hell may ascend above the freezing point: 36 degrees. Woo. Hoo.
