‘Full House’ actor John Stamos charged with DUI after driving erratically in Beverly Hills
“Full House†actor John Stamos has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs after he was spotted driving erratically in a Beverly Hills neighborhood, prosecutors said.
Stamos, who stars in the new show “Grandfathered,†faces one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs, according to a Los Angeles County Superior Court criminal complaint. The complaint did not specify the type of drug used.
He is set to be arraigned Friday at the L.A. County Superior Court’s airport branch. The 52-year-old actor is not required to appear in court because the case is a misdemeanor. His attorney can stand in for him during the hearing.

Stamos was arrested June 12 after witnesses reported seeing him behave strangely and driving erratically near Canon Drive and Brighton Way, prosecutors said.
After his arrest, Stamos appeared on the “Today†show and talked about his stint at a residential rehab program over the summer.
“I lost my mother last year, who was the love of my life — obviously a difficult time for me,†he said. “I had this moment, I had some time off and I had a decision to make. So I took advantage of the time and I made a choice, and I’m just so grateful that I did.â€
If Stamos is convicted, he faces up to six months in county jail.
Stamos is best known for playing the lovable “Uncle Jesse†on the hit show “Full House.â€
